man.. it is so werid to be looking forward to goin to work... it's like working at vulcan video.. as in the people i work with are pretty rad.. my boss brad likes to comunicate in text messages.. so i just got a text that said we will be closed on january 1st... this job is fucking awsome.. tonight is lauren's last night at the rain tree work place.. i bet she gets sad leaving those girls even though she hated working there. this is so cool i am listening to hotchkiss really loud in my house.. i never could do this at nearly 11 pm at any place i lived at.. well except my mom's house and the house i lived at right before the huricane.. let me tell you it's really loud though.. art boonpon (the singer/guitar player of hotchkiss) mailed bryan f. a cd of the band and bryan gave it to me!! my cats are running all around the house .. we finnaly brought home the cat jungle gym that me and lo built for the kitties in austin... well. we didn't have the big litter at that point .. but we fucking forsaw that shit coming.. booya!.. well that kitties are supper happy about the jungle gym.. fuck.. i need to hit the bed pretty soon. i have been watching alot of family guy episodes since jen murphy gave us like 3 seasons on dvd....
i cut my hair and shaved my beard a week or two ago.. latley i knoticed that the recording bidness has boomed at my house.. and me and greg have two bands that want to give us money to record them.. one is harpp (the new ew orleans band with keith and sean in a bucket in it) and recovery period is the other band.. the guy mitchal in that band wanted to put out a hatchback cd back in the day.. shit. it is bed time.. but i am not done ranting yet mofo's!! well.. i guese i will tell you what i did tonight.. well greg and johnathan turner and lezley turner (jt's sister) went to port of call to celibrate jt's 24th birthday!
i ate a great meal and got to see some freinds,,,.. elizabeth martin who i work with at major video for 5 years.. and travis from the westbank dayz!!.. he informed me that he and ryan and kevin comarda are in a band .. bass bass and drums!!! i am sure it will be mind blowing.. those guys are some of the most under noticed great musicians of new orleans.. after eating we went to the casino and jt got really drunk off his winnings from the roulet table..
and now i am home.. by my self.. . well not really . there are 5 kitties helping me keep sain.. if it wasnt for them sometimes i would go nuts!.. ok. well see you people tommorrow when you come into oak st cafe on oak st and dublin to eat breakfest!!! peace!
